Our Purpose
Every Scottie deserves a happy, healthy life. The Scotch & Scottie weekend was born out of a deep love for the breed and an urgent need to protect it. This event will help fund essential bladder cancer (TCC) screenings and support the Scottish Terrier Rescue of Florida’s rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
We do this to honor the dogs who fill our lives with joy, protect those who need medical care, and equip all pet owners with the knowledge to keep their companions healthy for years to come.
To Save Lives Through
Early Detection:
Funding life-saving TCC bladder cancer screenings and research support for the Scottish Terrier Club of Tampa Bay.
To Give Rescue Scotties a Second Chance:
Raising crucial funds for the Scottish Terrier Rescue of Florida (STROF) to foster, provide medical care, and rehome vulnerable dogs.
To Empower
Every Dog Owner:
Educating and supporting our broader canine community with accessible health resources, holistic wellness, and preventative care.

Tartan, Tasting, & Tail-Wagging Wellness!
Join us for a special benefit event dedicated to supporting Scottish Terrier health, research, and rescue through the Scottish Terrier Rescue of Florida (STROF) and local health initiatives. The Gala Event features a Taste of Scotland charcuterie buffet, curated Scotch tastings, a full cash bar, live auctions, high-value raffles, and plenty of Scottish cheer. Well-behaved pups are welcome!

Educational exhibits, live demonstrations, pet-focused businesses, local artisans, and nonprofit organizations – all dedicated to keeping our four-legged family members healthy and happy. Dogs welcome!
This faire places a special emphasis on Scottish Terrier health priorities—including awareness and research support for the Scottish Terrier Club of Tampa Bay (STCTB) Transitional Cell Carcinoma (TCC/bladder cancer) program and the collection of DNA samples for the Scottish Terrier Club of America Health Trust Fund —while celebrating and supporting the well-being of all canine companions in our community.

As a co-host of the Scotch & Scottie event, the Scottish Terrier Rescue of Florida (STROF) is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to giving Scotties a second chance. Your Gala donation directly funds foster care and life-saving medical treatment for dogs in need across the state.

As a lead organizer of the Scotch & Scottie event, the club raises funds for its proactive Bladder Cancer (TCC) Screening Program, which helps members cover the cost of early detection screenings for Scotties five years and older.
